PrintED Studio is a small publishing and design studio based in Chicago and Dalian (China), dedicated to exploring the interaction between printed matter and other artistic mediums. We are committed to expanding the possibilities of publishing formats through curated projects, surpassing the constraints imposed by conventional printed pages.

2023.10.27-2023.10.30From Plants to Artists’ Books From Plants to Artists' Books" is jointly presented by Ruhua Bookstore and PrintED Studio. It is showcased at Lin Qingyun Residence, a century-old masonry-timber structure building, as part of the Ruian Branch Venue for the 10th Wenzhou International Fashion and Culture Industries Expo.

Artists' Books by Female Creators with Nature and Plants
Artists' Books by Female Creators with Nature and Plants is a mini bookshelf exhibition curated by PrintED Studio for 2023 Zuoshu Book Fair · Hangzhou. For th exhibition, they solicited 16 artists' books in different forms and materials from 9 female artists. The contents of all these artists' books revolve around nature and plants, aiming to jointly present the female creators' multi-dimensional observation, perception and imagination of nature.

Print Pomona Art Book Fair

Print Pomona Art Book Fair in partnership with the Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College is the leading event that celebrates independent publishing, book design, and books-as-art. Julian Lucas, photographer and co-founder of Mirrored Society Books, founded PPABF in 2018 as a fresh forum for artists, independent publishers, and fans of artists' books. It also serves as a hub for idea sharing and community engagement.

SEA Art Book Fair
The SEA artbook fair is jointly initiated by Jiazazhi and Same Paper. The name 'SEA' is derived from the word 'hai' in Shanghai, as well as the first two letters of SeP, Jiazazhi's Shanghai space, and Same Paper. The fair focuses on photography and image-based art books, while also encompassing contemporary art, comics, illustrations, records or cross-disciplinary and multimedia publications with a diverse range of artistic genres being its main direction.

PRINCIPAL 
Weng, Ating
Ating is a multidisciplinary artist and curator based in Chicago. She has previously worked at various prestigious art institutions including Museum of Contemporary Art (Shanghai), FTZART (Shanghai), the Art Institute of Chicago, and the Heritage Museum of Asian Art (Chicago). She obtained her BA from the China Academy of Art (CAA) in 2019 and completed her MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in 2023.

DESIGN DIRECTOR Zhang, YihongYihong is a graphic designer and artist based between Beijing and Chicago. Her work crosses artist’s book, printing, graphic design as well as photograph. She reveived her MFA in visual communication design at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC) in 2021.



EVENT COORDINATOR
Yu ZhenYu Zhen obtained a bachelor's degree in Mathmatics and graduated from Qufu Normal University, and currently lives and works in Hangzhou. Since 2021, she has been actively involved in the coordinating of art events including art fectivals and fairs.



MEDIA OPERATION  
Yang, Chengchuan
Chengchuan, an engineering student at the Communication University of Zhejiang (CUZ), has been studying graphic design independently since 2019. Driven by a deep interest in design, activism, and self-publishing, he co-founded an independent documentary magazine called Vortex in 2022.
